TRAVEL PLANNERS RADIO SHOW JAN. 30

BON CARNAVAL in QUEBEC CITY   The Travel Planners show was broadcast live from the beautiful Salon Rose room overlooking the St. Lawrence River at the Fairmont Chateau Frontenac. Guests included the famous spokesperson of the 56th Winter Carnaval, Bonhomme.  We also interviewed the President of the Carnaval, Andre Roy.  A very special guest named Santol dropped by to say hello to our mascot, Doodles the Destination Duck.  Santol greets guests at the hotel and for a small fee guests can take Santol for a walk while the proceeds go to charity.   Other guests included Richard Sequin, Account Executive with Quebec Tourism, Exec. Chef Jean Soulard and GM Robert Mercure of the Fairmont Le Chateau Frontenac. Also interviewed was Jacques Desbois, CEO of the Hotel de Glace (the Ice Hotel) and receptionist Pauline and GM Robert Beland of the Auberge Duchesnay.    We finished the interviews talking with Richard Sequin about the restaurants of Quebec City where we dined:  Restaurant SSS and Restaurant Gambrinus.
